Anthony L. Marone, Esq.
Anthony Marone focuses his law practice on special needs trusts and Medicaid eligibility matters. With over 25 years of experience, Anthony is now senior counsel at the Estate Planning and Elder Law Offices of Gerhard & Gerhard, P.C. where drafts and modifies special needs trusts, and helps clients with the legalities of the Medicaid application process. He represents individuals, trustees, and guardians in the creation and proper administration of special needs trusts.
Prior to private practice, Attorney Marone represented Pennsylvania’s Department of Human Services in matters involving special needs trusts and Medicaid eligibiltiy issues. He was the primary litigator in Eastern Pennsylvania for the Office of General Counsel to the Governor of Pennsylvania for matters involving Special Needs Trusts and Medicaid eligibility. He left government service and joined the McAndrews Law Offices in 2014, where he eventually was made a partner. Attorney brought his years of experience to the Estate Planning and Elder Law Offices of Gerhard & Gerhard, P.C. where he is now senior counsel.
Attorney Marone is a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. He is a graduate of Central High School, Drexel University, and the Temple University School of Law. He served 23 years in the Pennsylvania National Guard and United States Army. As a senior intelligence analyst in the Army, he was deployed overseas during Operation Enduring Freedom.
