Introducing Current PresidentTammy Weber, CELA

Ms. Weber is the managing principal of Marshall, Parker & Weber, LLC with offices in Williamsport, Wilkes-Barre, Scranton and Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Her practice focuses on elder law, estate and business succession planning. She graduated magna cum laude from Lycoming College and received her law degree from Temple University. She is a certified elder law attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation. She is also a VA accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for veterans’ benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs. She previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania where she was involved with major federal investigations and prosecutions. While in this position, she was the recipient of the Department of Health & Human Services Inspector General’s Integrity Award for the investigation and criminal conviction of the first Medicare money laundering seizure case in the country. Ms. Weber has also served as an adjunct professor at Saint Joseph’s University Graduate Criminal Justice Program where she designed and taught a course on law and social policy. For several years, she sat on the editorial board of the Legal lntelligencer. She is currently a course planner for PBI’s Elder Law Institute. She is an active member of various professional and community organizations. She is a Past President of the Lycoming Law Association and the Elder Law Council for the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is Secretary of the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys. She is a member of the Northcentral Pennsylvania Estate Planner’s Council and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is serves on the Ethics Advisory Board for Albright LIFE and is a member of the American Inn of Courts.
